Bio
Bios are always so hard. How to define oneself in just a few words? Here goes: 30-something Southern Arizona resident, writer with aspirations to be published, Highlander fan, Russell Mulcahy fan, S*P and QoW addict, avid reader, straight-not-narrow GLBT rights supporter, PFLAG member, duck (stuff with ducks on it, not real ducks) collector, hummingbird food provider (love the local wildlife). TV: love CSI, House, Chuck, Heroes, Psych, Burn Notice, Bones, Dr. Who; love and miss the defunct Dead Like Me, QAF, Tru Calling, Buffy, Angel, 4400, Firefly, Highlander.

What I do for a living is irrelevant as my job doesn't define me. Right now I'm looking for something that's a better fit than my current position, but all in all, what I do for my "day job" and what I put here are pretty separate. 'Nuff said about that.

RE: Friending: You are welcome to friend me. At this point I have about as much of a reading list as I can handle (some days, more than I can handle), which is what I use my flist for most of the time, so I may or may not friend you back. Please don't take it personally.

"Writing a novel is like driving a car at night. You can only see as far as your headlights, but you can make the whole trip that way." -- E.L. Doctorow

"Writing is a socially acceptable form of schizophrenia." -- E.L. Doctorow

"Friends are God's apology for relations." ~Hugh Kingsmill

"More than half of modern culture depends on what one shouldn't read." -- Oscar Wilde, The Importance of Being Earnest (Yes, it's out of context. But it's a fun quote that way.)

"Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people." -- Eleanor Roosevelt
